If Cheserek were to run the World Junior XC doesn't he have to run for Kenya?

Big diff in D1 and HS, cowboy.
Hahahaha what you talkin' 'bout. I guess you have no idea how D1 guys are racing. He won't even appear anything close to top 100. or maybe he won't even make to NCAA as an individual if he goes to west region.
Well you could compare him to Joe Rosa, who ran 14:56 at Holmdel. Cheserek ran 14:53 there, so they're pretty compareable.
Rosa got 120 team points at nationals
By the time Cheserek gets to college, if he goes, he will probably be top five his freshman year. He is at least as good as Goucher, Ritz, Derrick and Puskedra. Dude was challenging Luke Verzbicas as a sophomore.

Not a good comparision, Joe by most standards did not have a good XC season; Lutz would be a better comparision. I say Edward would have finish inside of the top 100 and perhaps top 50 if he trained a little more for a 10K. This does not take anything away from the NCAA, just says he is an exceptional H.S. athlete.
One of the elites that that saw him run over the summer at the Nike Camp commented that he could be scorer for any NCAA team right now.

He will also be 26 yeaars old by then.
He might be top 5 then....but he would have gotten buried this year. Big difference between now and then.
None of those guys you mentioned would have been all-american their senior year in high school sides maybe Ritz. Not even close.
I fail to see how anyone thinks he is inside the 120? 31 flat was 120th place and he is probably right around that time on a x-c course
He has consistently run sub-15 on some tough cources and I think he ran a 29x track 10K over a year ago. I would guess he's capable of running a XC 31 flat. However, he probably could not run much faster than that becasue his training in geared towards running a 5K.

This isn't even a funny joke anymore, it's just stupid. Cheserek doesn't even look any older than a normal high school junior.
As much as you guys don't want the Africans running in and winning FL, it's not really up to you. Might as well debate based on what is actually going on. Cheserek will be running high school races next season and college the year after, probably. Go from there.
Why do people think hes waaaaay better than Lutz? I seem to remember that they were right next to each other at NXN. (the only time they raced) People keep doubting Lutz and he keeps serving up good performances.
oh, he would have finished right ahead of luckass verzbicas.
d'oh !
He would not have cracked top 100.
