For one thing, the other current Brit that Daily Mail readers would have heard of, Mr Farah, is upwards of £1m with Nike.

Dix earned his money. He ran 19.69 in college. He has 4 global championship medals. Numerous US titles. Over the last 2-3 years he has been better than anyone not named Bolt at 100-200 doubling. It also appears that he has a much better agent than Tyson Gay.

I'm surprised to see Lemaitre so low. He will be a big European star.

I think pretty clearly there are a bunch of names missing from that list, a lot more in the $250,000 range. I don't get Dix making so much. I don't see him having that much PR value.

Rojo does not state his conclusion, only that Dix earns $1.5MM (actually 1.5MM Pounds, but whatever) and is third on the list of top paid tracksters. Many are guessing its a dig at Dix?! The conclusion I got was are there really only three track and field athletes that make more than $1.5MM!!! What an awful sport.
