Thoughts anyone?
Thoughts anyone?
I'm not sure why you want us to speculate about his disappearance but I guess I'll fall into the trap. To me, it's sad that so many of us feel so alone that we find it hard to have motivatinot o live.
I think a better recap is here:

It's not clear what the redacted part of the report is. The only thing I can think of is it refers to alcohol and him drinking.
If one thought "drink" or "bottle of whiskey" for every redacted part, it might make sense.
I'm glad that he lived. It's a miracle and hopefully he can take solace in the fact that he was spared.
This is all very sad. I find it difficult to read of this happening. I truly hope this young man can find happiness with his life.

From reading both articles, it would seem like there was maybe some medication involved. No matter what, it's difficult to see one of our own (competitive runner) fall out of step with life. I really hope that his recovery goes well and he can turn a new page. Obviously Marko and UAA have dealt with a lot in the last few years; thoughts and prayers are with them as they try to recover.
What benefit are "thoughts and prayers" to anyone but the person doing them?

You really are something. If you don't believe in something that is fine, but you knew what he meant and didn't really need to post that.

I don't know. Where's the harm?
I thought everyone knew Coach d is the biggest dipsh*t on this site.

Actually, this is the first thing I've ever agreed with Coach d about. Offering your "thoughts and prayers" is basically saying "I'm not going to do anything, but I'd like to feel like I'm doing something." Thinking about it isn't doing something about it. Just admit that you aren't going to do anything about it and move on. Don't act like you're doing something about is because you're thinking about it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
I think Marko is one tough dude. I don't think most people would have had the will to fight their frozen body through the storm and get to help.
