The Unexplained Death Of Elisa Lam The 2013 death of Elisa Lam at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles continues to defy explanation. Lam was a Canadian student from the University of British Columbia who visited California in early 2013. After visiting the San Diego zoo, she arrived in Los Angeles and checked into a shared room at the Cecil Hotel two days later. The hotel staff moved her to a single room two days after that when her roommates complained about her “certain odd behavior.” She contacted her parents every day, but on Jan. 31, the day she was scheduled to check out, she disappeared and failed to contact her family.
Authorities did not find Lam until Feb. 19, after guests at the Cecil complained about the taste and color of the hotel’s water. Some guests said the water ran black out of the faucets and had an “unusual” flavor. The police discovered Lam’s body in one of four 1,000-gallon water tanks on the hotel’s roof, accessible only by doors hotel staff had the access codes for, or by a fire escape. Hotel staff had to use a ladder to look into the water tank, prompting questions as to how Lam could have reached the heavy lid on top and then opened it herself. Her clothes were discovered in the water tank with her, and an autopsy revealed no evidence of foul play or significant intoxication.
Further complicating the case is surveillance footage of Lam on the day of her disappearance showing her appearing to hide from and interact with an unseen presence in an elevator that momentarily malfunctions.

but last night i had couple night terrors where i thought someone/thing was trying to grab me, felt their presence and i felt paralyzed to speak...happened twice within 10 minutes. my spouse had to wake me up...
i really don't like this feeling (someone's hand grabbing, an animal clawing, etc) but have been getting them the last few months.
I forgot what it's called, but at the point right before you fall asleep, your mental state un-attaches from you/your ego, something like that, and mentally you briefly feel like you're not alone, something like that. "Night terrors" happen when you get stuck there, for some reason.
I had an apartment in an old house during college. The door to my bedroom would almost close if you weren't holding it, the house leaned that way or something. It wouldn't close all the way like this, you'd have to push it. It would do this very fast, like one or two seconds from when it was open enough to walk through.
Every so often, I'd get up and the door would be open a foot or two. No pets, no windows open, etc. Touching it, it would close as above. Three or four times, and once looking right at it, I saw it open as I said above, then stay. Touching it, it closed.
The house was an empty lot when I was back there ten years ago.
Isn't that the name of Jon Snow's direwolf?
Ghost definitely exist. In fact, they're starting a U.S. tour on October 25th in Grand Prairie, Texas.
