Your assurance means nothing. Maybe they're not lying and they really do believe they saw something. That doesn't mean A) they did and/or B) they saw a ghost.
No, eyewitness testimony of an alleged supernatural event is not proof of anything. In a court of law it wouldn't even be brought up as it's fairly silly.
If you have 10 'eyewitnesses' claim to a judge and jury that a ghost pushed someone off a building, well, seriously. Is this really an example you're trying to use?
