Wow, GREAT JOB CHRIS DERRICK!
Nice to see GF get one under his belt. 5000 outdoor training time.

Yeah, I have to say that Fernandez is such a disappointment. I'd be fine if he went for it and fell to 97th again. Really, I would. But the guy seems to have basically just had his spirit broken. No desire to win at all, just a role player. Who would have predicted that Puskedra and Derrick would be up there fighting for it ever year, and Fernandez wouldn't even try.
:Lalang, "It was plan to go after 5k but... (felt good at 4k).
It was my plan to stay and be relaxed for the first 4k.
Ahmed 5

OSU - 11
They are handing the trophy to Wisconsin!!
Wisco Wins!
The broadcast definitely was solid. The weather conditions made things a little fuzzy, but how good can you really broadcast an event as sporadic as cross country?
derrick is a monster
Badgers are back!!!!!!
Generic NCAA Championship T-Shirts kinda make me gag.. not because of Wisco but because the NCAA as an organization sucks.
I also enjoyed the broadcast. Very professional.
What does that make Lalang?
Where are the results going to be posted?
I agree it's ridiculous. It's like everyone is so afraid of pulling a Solinsky that they forgot the purpose of the race is to run your hardest. I was glad to see Derrick up there pushing it though.

WEll, congrats to UW. OSU has no balls.
Those things have gotten more people in trouble than they helped.
It is much harder for runners to have confidence and run a smart, well paced race than it is to go too fast and blow up.
You're probably one of those jackweeds that I always run down the last half of the race and beat easily because you are too stupid to learn how to run your race.
Derrick is a beast. Great to see him finally just go for it.
It makes Lalang a Kenyan

I'm not saying it's terrible but they should have two interns counting places and tweeting or texting the places of the OSU and Wisco guys.
I mean the whole race is really about the team battle (according to the NCAA) and there was little way to follow that than at the 2k/5k/8k. Have someone count places.
But did he quit as hard and dissapoint you as much as LV did'? I bet you feel like you just want to go swallow a bullet right about now,,,don't you? lmao loser

Agreed. I don't think he tried to get into the top 5 overall. Fernandez didn't need to pull Colby Lowe along after the 8k mark. Fernandez should have hammered the last 2k and tired to pass as many people as possible.
Levins = ballsiest runner? I believe so.
