anywhere in the western world the standard age for someone to lose their virginity is like, 15-18. the world is full of boys who wanna be players and girls who are sluts who pretend they are not and call other girls sluts to detract from their own said sluttiness. wake up from your state of religious ignorance. oh, also, girls watch porn to. ;)

My mom thought I was a virgin at 38yo because I wasn't married and I am a christian. Well she read through my emails when I was home for the holidays and was stunned that I was not a virgin and she started praying for me in tongues and crying and sobbing like it was such an abomination for anyone let alone a grown man to have sex outside of marriage and didn't even for an inkling feel the need to apologize for going through my laptop to read my emails. Guess what, christians have sex outside of marriage. It doesn't make them better or worse christians. A christian should be defined by their ability to love and forgive. It is sad that christians are defined by whether they have sex or not.

my ex's dad walked in on us several times and didn't seem to care at all. then again, he was a drunk and was also probably on acid at the time, but still, i'd have twenty minute conversations with him while i was inside his daughter. after a while, it wasn't even awkward anymore. odd family in general.

Seriously, this whole discussion has had its high points of reasoned debate and low points of religious fanaticism (shocking on here, I know) disguised as reasoned debate, but overall the humor has to win, because it's the only thing balancing out the insane level of just plain, good old misogyny.

Give the girl some respect for having a brain connected to that there vagina. Don't just jump right to the conclusion that she or her father has failed in some way. Regardless of what you think about pre-marital sex, let's try to get off the track of batting this girl's and her family's decisions and/or practices around like it's a "worst-case scenario" hacky sack.
