The states of West Virginia & Nevada have no mens college track or x-c. That's entire states, that's ALL colleges.

Dick Buerkle set the indoor mile WR at Cole Field House in 1978.
From the article and some of the comments, it looks like another college administration that may not be entirely in tune with their student body/alumni. Poor timing from people that get paid to pay attention to things like that.
I'm still pissed about Maryland cutting track and cc. RIP coach Charles Torpey. I loved running for you.
Track and field lowers itself by depending on college football.
And since football is on its way out anyway, we might want to rethink our paradigms. A club system is far healthier for our sport.
And many top college programs these days are circumventing NCAA rules and the spirit of the sport.
I can foresee a future of a lot less travel for all non revenue sports teams. No more insane flying cross country teams around the country for non champ races. Throw 'em in a van, drive 3 hours, race.
Maryland should have ran faster. 800 and up they sucked
did the Big Ten not mandate that maryland bring back their track team?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
