Look at the bright side. Oregon and Arkansas can start preparing for the indoor season. This is going to be one hell of a track season.

Winning in the SEC this year XC is no big accomplishment at all... it was a the weakest of all time.
Generally Arkansas has had a weak Region aside from times when four strong foreigners would be healthy for teams like Alabama. In the Arkansas heyday that did not matter, of course.
Reprieving the To XC Programs thread will have "-" for both Oregon and Arkansas, while the worst Wisconsin has done since Regionals were introduced is 19th.
ya, how about the team of borleau, chappa, salazar, mcchesny, martin and clary.

It actually is the fourth time since 2000 that Oregon has missed the NCAA Final.
Exactly. It isn't the 1970s anymore. Oregon has been very inconsistent the last 15 years.

marathon bests are
salazar 208
chappa 211
martin 209
borleau 211
clary ? 1984 olympian
mcchesny ? current 5k and 10k oregon-duck record holder.
i'd say no college team comes remotely close in the marathon.
Distance Power Connecticut Wesleyan had two American Record holders (or did one just miss).
it is pathetic that Oregon with its blue chippers could not even qualify with LV out. With this roster, they miss? And Georgia and Tulsa are in??
