Jordan's BF did well, but JH didn't have a good day. She almost lost 3rd down the stretch. Katie Flood is looking really impressive. I squinted trying to see Claire Durkin, but if she was there she wasn't in the top 20.

Was this a full 8k for the men?
Flood had mono six-eight weeks ago. Wow.
CU women were shocking: ranked #16 coming in, knock of #2 UW and #5 UA.
Claire Durkin was Stanford's 5th runner, right around 30th. Aisling Cuffe lost maybe 15 places in the last 100 meters....she is not anorexic (very healthy looking), probably just a little stale, maybe she's been sick, or the heat could have been a factor (native New yorker).
Let's not give excuses...Katie Flood and Kathy Kroeger ran great and Jordan did the best she could today.
Katie Flood is looking very impressive right now. Colorado women as well...especially good race for Coburn's first run. possible darkhorse?

Durkin was 30th-and 5th runner for Stanford. Lucky she was there or Stanford wouldn't have even placed 3rd.
Must be a bit of a reality check for Durkin. Ya can't have it all. Can't walk away and expect to be back in the mix. She's pretty average 30/100 Pac 12.

Nah. Coburn doesn't fancy herself a cross runner. She just hangs on to Kip. Kip has a better chance of dark horsing than Coburn.

Notable results:
Moussa wins the frosh race
15 79 Ammar Moussa COLORADO 23:43 4:47
20 99 Jeramy Elkaim OREGON 23:51 4:48
23 110 Lukas Verzbicas OREGON 23:55 4:49
25 155 Joe Rosa STANFORD 23:57 4:49
Lukas could've won this race easy. He was just messing around doing a little workout. He will win nationals easy .
Kipp's already been racing this season. This was Emma Coburn's first race...Wetmore said not to expect much. If she keeps improving she can be top-5. Probably not challenge Sheila Reid, but 2nd place is looking way more open than it was before, with Hasay and Infeld not running up to par.
Solid first race for Claire Durkin...if she keeps improving and if Aisling Cuffe rounds into form up there with Kroeger, Stanford is scary good. Wonder if Chelsey Sveinsson will ever be back.
Heat isn't a great excuse. Sure, it probably adversely affected the Oregon women and Hasay, but Wetmore said it was 19 degrees in Colorado when they left and both the men's and women's teams ran very well.
Does anyone know why Deborah Meier didn't run?
isn't unterreiner normally quite a bit closer to the top stanford guys than today?

Resting on her laurels.
82 89 Kesselring Anne Oregon 22:38.6
8:39.4 (8:39.4),13:54.5 (5:15.2),22:38.6 (8:44.1)
Ouch.
Not a great last 2k for Oregon...
youve got to think UO's 4-7 will bounce back in time for regionals.

The young woman takes the last 3 years off, runs her very first XC race for the Cardinal in her senior year, finishes 14 secs behind the celebrated Cuffe, and you write that????
Great debut for CU in the pac12

Having seen both of these courses, I estimate that a 23:15 at Griak is a 21:45 on the Pac 12 course.
