Originally I thought that the whole stunt was way over the top but, looking back on it, I think it was great. Showmanship like that is exactly what it is going to take to get track back in the spotlight (think touchdown celebrations). The sprints are the glamour events in the eyes of the typical American viewer, and that will certainly get them noticed. Heck, Sports Center used the clip in their intro, so thats a start towards some track publicity.

As long as something like that is not done at the Olympics, I think it's perfectly fine...hilarious even.

Very funny, about time someone has some real personality in this sport. Sad that we have to add hype to get people's attention, but it works so I am for it.

I thought it was a funny thing. But I'm wondering....is this any different than Terrell Owens pulling a Sharpie out of his sock and signing the football after scoring a touchdown? Many people ripped on him for that. I wonder if Greene will get a similar response.
