he looks bad from the letsrun picture, embarrassing for all of us. the gymnast, that's something else.

Why didn't they pick Nick Symmonds, he's jacked and a stud.
the pictures that have them doing something that is actually related to their sport are a lot more interesting than just having them lie on the beach
I liked the Hope Solo lawn shot. At least there is some bottom boobage there.
Hope Solo's was the best.
I'd like to be her neighbor.
At least Nick LOOKS like an athlete. But he's not a long distance runner
But Hall next to Blake Griffin (for whom Allyson Felix attended a Clippers game just to check him out) is an interesting juxtaposition as to how long distance runners are not athletes. Just look at the bodies.
Hall looks more like a girl than Natasha Hastings.

First off, thanks for sharing...
Secondly, Ohno looks like he has some serious thunder thighs. Not my cup of tea.
Third, Ryan Hall looks like he's trying way too hard by sucking in his abs and flexing too hard. Maybe I am wrong and I will be the first to apologize. But, I still can't get over how young he looks first his age.

Clean living, most people would look that young at that age without drugs, smoking, booze, over eating, too little exercise, liberal guilt.

A lot of people aren't understanding the point of ESPN's feature. It's not just to pick out some hotties from different sports. That's what the SI swimsuit edition is. The point is to showcase the inherent beauty in the athlete's body. It's a Greek ideal, originally. The idea that a body perfected for a sport—whether it's surfing, running, football, soccer, etc., is a work of art. That's why they picked Ryan Hall, because he ISN'T the super-jacked 'hunk' type you'd usually see. And they contrast that with the short, stout men like Ohno and the extremely built NFL guys too. That's also why they picked some of the stronger, thicker women: they don't conform to the media's typical expectations of physical beauty.
The Hall photo reminded me why we should all always wear a shirt when running.
Ryan/Adam looks like he's running from God after the first time he and Eve have done the dirty.
Ryan Hall reminded me of why it isn't necessary to wear a shirt when running. The lean, toned look of the runner who doesn't have hideous bulging muscles is beautiful.
It seemed so simple to take a semi nude photo, and I was wondering to myself if i would do the same if I was a top runner.
I am in good shape. I look like a strong distance runner. Still my ass and thighs are hairy as balls. If they took the exact same photo of me as they did ryan, I feel like the hair on my ass would automatically make the picture go from pg 13 to R for some reason. I don't know. I'm just curious how they'd handle a really hairy guy in this sort of situation.
I feel like there is discrimination against hair.
Just curious, looking at the picture it seems as though his arm swing is to long. I was always told your hand should not go farther back than your hips, is this true?

don't worry about form so much. as long as you keep getting faster, that's all that matters
The first pic of Ohno makes him look like Wolverine from X-Men.
really, then what sport does the chick do that was watering the lawn?

I feel like a weirdo looking at these at work. Hopefully someone comes in when I'm looking at Hope Solo and not Ryan Hall.
+1. I hope no one sees at all.

Someone has to water the pitch don't they?

Ryan's form looks off. Looks like he's lifting his knee too high.
It's a pain getting wood chips out of the soles of your feet. That must have been a painful photo shoot. The things one will do for art.
