I fail to see how beating three athletes (just from the results posted in the thread) with personal bests of 3:56, 3:59, and 4:01 is disappointing.
You guys need to be less obsessed with times.

The point for Jenny was to win the race. She did. Nice end to her track season. I can see how arguing Rieti and Brussels were disappointing but not this one.
Her last several race results give a surprising indication that her kick might be much more monstrous compared to her overall running strength. This is pretty much the opposite of what I expected for her at this distance, but she does have a Flotrack kick of the week from years ago to back it up.

I know everyone is still down on her slowest gold medal race ever but championship races have never been about the clock, this isn't sprinting. Even in smaller meets you are only racing the people next to you not the clock, still 4:15 is really slow but she was first over the line.
She beat some pretty good people in Morocco.
Okay, what's next?
Mishchenko is not bad. Had a good season early on. Will be interesting to see next year if she can progress.

Jenny Simpson has a gold medal and Morgan Uceny does not. So not next.
Let's try to keep things in perspective. 4:15 in a Morocco meet sucks. She is really talented, and should set her sights higher, like becoming a World Champion at the event.

Her coach peaked her at the right time for the biggest race of the year. It is hard to keep that peak. So any race after her great WC should not be looked at as a disapointment. She had a great year, leave it at that.
