Group of five women led by Rachel Baptista (McLaughlin did not race and obviously neither did Coburn) and a group of seven men led by Ammar Moussa (no Bosshard).

Saw Allie running, just getting her to a line will speak volumes for the mastermind of Wetmore. Girls of her stature rarely make it this far.
So who made the squad?
You'll find out at prenationals.
some pretty quick times this year compared w/ past years[quote]Same as the past 20 years wrote:
I knew McLaughlin was at least part-time off her crutches, happy to here she's lacing up. When she wasn't mentioned in CU's preseason press conference, I figured she won't be running this season. But the longer she sits, the better off she'll be with as much as sitting must drive her crazy.

Cute pic of Katie Cumming at that link...what an unfortunate pornish last name.
So any chance that Allie might run this season?
Not bad, the men are REALLY going to need moussa/somebody else to run well fill the void at #5
Relying on a true frosh at 5th is risky but he is twice a 14:05 guy winning as a prep. Medina the younger also ran 14:22 in the Spring. Van Halen is an 8:52 steepler who had varsity cross experience last year. 7th is a fair ranking at this point.

My sources tell me that Rachel Baptista's winning time was the fastest ever, can anyone else confirm this?
Not even close. Jenny B broke the record two years ago when she ran 19:25.
I think he means race/event record, not course record. Stakes are a lot higher and so is the competition at the Shootout than they are at the time trial.
McLaughlin was out running before the meet...so it seems that she is atleast semi-healthy.

I was counting Van halen in the top 5 already as he was there last year. I think 7th is concievable but going to be tough as the rest of the country looks damn good to boot
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
