None of that diatribe has any meaning. All social BS and "listen to the officials." The facts are the head of the SA sports federation who lied and BSA'd and covered her results up pre the last WC, has been thrown out of office and charged criminally.
Years from now they will let everyone know, what many of us already think.
Sport has becoem too political and social enginering has devalued fair play.
If you want some quotes that should scare you about our fearless leaders read the article about the Jewish guy who refused tho go to Berlin, and track down the official quotes from Avery Brundage. They will horrify you.
This is all political expedience.
Actually, he just blew you right out of the water. I only hope that he will not dignify your nonsense with another response.

Nothing he said has anything to do with the semenya case. Its all opinionated crap about life and justice.

Wow. Where have you been idiot? Do a little research before writing such crap. She was found to have testicles and inflated testosterone. She was put on hormone treatments. Everyone who watched her quick development knew there was something wrong. It was proven to be true. These were not rumors.
South Africa has all the freaks:
Castor is just a slow male runner; why the hype?
The blade runner is not even an athlete. Look at his body, and compare him to the other 400 runners. He looks like he doesn't even work out. I'll bet with normal legs, he'd couldn't break 58 seconds in his current shape. He'd max out at about 55 seconds with normal legs if he trained.
Easy to categorize:
Male Division: Testes + high testosterone levels (250-X)
Female Division: Ovaries + low testosterone levels (25-110)
EZ Done and Done newbs.
X = normal max male range without PE drugs.
I remember seeing a video of a normal guy with legs wearing the same type of blades as Pistoria except they were much bigger (2 feet long or so). We was able to run the length of a track in like 10 seconds. Each stride was like 5 meters. Very cool display. Yes Pistoria's are smaller but a huge advantage over what he would be able to do with normal legs.

Hahahaha...good move by Semenya.
2nd place = No controversy.
Until next year in which she will drops a massive 1:53 and retire.
She's saving his face.

So that she won't be able to earn any money off the win?
2nd place also gets money. It's good for "her" to make some money.
But 2012 is the year of the big bucks. When she gets the paycheck...kaboooom. Retirement.
He looked like he was joggin the last 50 meters. 2nd place no scrutiny. He proved to himself he could win if he wanted and then backed off. I loved the intros, all the women were blowing kisses and Seminya was flexing his muscles like Bolt.

Is this really true? Or is it just guesses? I just don't think she should be discriminated against if this hasn't been proven. If it is proven, I don't understand why the IAAF would say it's okay... Politics you say.

Do you see the irony of making sheep noises in the sentence prior to telling someone else to grow up?
I'm not involved in this. I just pointed out that the other fellow made you look foolish.
Making sheep noises only helped his cause.
en sera, you have not followed the thread.
Its not philosophical crap that is being discussed. Not the structure of an argument. The thread is about one thing, that answer is about another. Yes it makes sense, but not in the context of the total discussion. Its all diatribe. And this is letsrun. Facts aren't that important here. If you want facts go to T&FN.
This is about drinking beer and emotion. And statements from average to below enthusiastic middle distance runners.
IN this case Semenya is proven to have HIGH testosterone and has undergone treatments to get her within Limits. I have a lot of sympathy for a medical condition that will impact her life in far greater ways than running. In her country probably worse than in the US.
But the facts are she had an unfair advantage in the last WC and should have been DQ'd. Everyone in SA associated with her entry was suspended or fired. That's the facts.
This year she has supposedly undergone treatment to get her testosterone production (from her internal testicles) under control. She supposedly has been receiving eostrogen treatment, but people wonder as she is such a powerful and relaxed runner, no one believes she's running hard.
This will only end when she retires. I feel for the rest of the female 800 runners who must think they are running against Rudisha. There is a great article on another thread you should read. Find it.
I agree that this will only end when she retires. But what if she was open about what happened and decided to make her testosterone levels public, to be open and honest about treatment. This article makes a good point, i thought. It might be the article mentioned above:
http://www.sportsscientists.com/2011/09/iaaf-world-champs-800m-women-questions.html
I mean, there may be advantages that persist even after lowering testosterone, but it would be a start, right? At least the advantage isn't one that challenges the 'gender line'. And in time, who knows?

I doubt she will win. She is already world champion. If she wins she risks more investigation and may not be able to start in London. Not worth it. Finish 2nd or 3rd, then drop the hammer next year.
Looks like I was spot on.
