Willis sure looked nice and relaxed just layin' there on that stretcher.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Centro went to final and did something very big here. He just seems to "have it" to my eyes, and maybe this is the big breakthrough for him.
BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
impressive by centro for sure. as a poster or two pointed out, baala secretly looked really good as well.
final should be interesting. i think perhaps kiprop's to lose and expect something from baala. always been intrigued by baala.
Did nobody else notice that Leo pulled up right when he was making his final move? It looked like he was going to kick in for one of the spots then pulled up with some sort of pull at about 50-60 to go.

Centro's looked great, no question. But he's looked great & sharp running 3:46 better than the others. I do not recall when/where he PR'd. But for the optimism, that I share: Do we have any idea if he can finish nearly as fast as the top guys, in a 3:35 race... after the rounds, no less? Check how Stember or McMullen kicked VERY different in a 3:45 vs a 3:35.
Centrowitz ran 3:34 twice this year.
In those races, he finished 10th in Monaco and 11th in Paris.
I hope people don't get disappointed if he doesn't place higher than 10th in this Final.
Whatever he gets, it will be a success.
I am going with Kiplagat over Kiprop in the final.
Outside of the semis, Kiprop hasn't won a race this year.
Kiplagat won three events this year and convincingly pulled away from Kiprop at the Kenyan trials.
Of course this race will be run differently than the others and we don't know about Kiplagat's raw speed.
Should be interesting.
He made the finals. That is all we can ask for now. The guy is not a world beater. However, if the pace is slower than usual you could see him surprise people just like he did at the US championships. When Lagat speak highly of a guy you better take him seriously.
If the final is at a moderate to slow pace - watch out!
I think the other runners are taking Centro pretty seriously.
After the race, watch the ETH guy who ended up second - he keeps looking at Centro with the 'who the hell are you?' look
Centro has a good chance of 4th maybe 3rd in the final. He can beat everyone within a second of his sb (and Willis who barely made the final) to finish 4th; a season best might move him up to 3rd. Would love to see him second with the Irishman third behind a Kenyan.
Centro and Rupp are extremely talented runners, but let’s at least be realistic about their chances of getting a medal. At this time I am happy just to see them in the finals and finishing with the top 5 to 10 runners in the world. Webb actually had the talent to win at this level, but his head was somewhere else. Maybe if Webb had Centro's tactical savvy maybe he would have a medal by now.
Like Webb, it looks as if US fans are about to throw Whetting on the has-been pile.

I'd like to hear from asdfafsd now.
Oh dear, you aren't taking this very well then. (So, you admitted it all somewhere?)
