USA< USA< USA GOLD!
USA< USA< USA GOLD!
Wait for the drug test
wait for it
wait for it...
Now THAT was a disciplined race from a determined competitor.
She just was not going to let anybody else win that gold!

This victory brings to mind only one thing for me: one of the best, IMHO, descriptions of a runner ever penned on letsrun, by a poster named "John Smith's Bank Account":
"I can't wait until Jeter smashes FloJo's records, passes every single drug test, and stands on the top of the Olympic podium next year - huge, ripped, and golden. And 32 years old. Its gonna be sweet."
Carmelita Jeter--huge, ripped, and golden.
And so it begins...
I'm glad she finally got her gold. I hope she can replicate that for next year when it counts.
Wow, no love for Jeter.
I wonder why...
I'm just glad our druggie beat their druggies.
Look how many empty seats there are compared to men's 100m Finals.
Cheater. Period.
yeah finally! i just wish i felt she got it while running clean.
Considering how long Jeter has been running without failing a single drug test, you have to consider the lady pretty clean.
God Bless America.
she is dirty as all hell.
Uceny hasn't raced yet.

The 2nd most important race out there doesn't count?
I think we also just saw just how illegitimate the times in Eugene are. 10.64 before, 10.70 this year...end never close to that again anywhere else.
I love Carmelita. She's my most favourite sprinter because Marion betrayed me.
I stood up for her in my living room pumping my hands in the air.
I truly hope she's clean.
KElly anne Baptiste is the next big thing. Seh's young too, probably 24.

26:59 at Stanford. Never will come close to that anywhere.
Hey you really ran a good, glad to you win.Now get ready for 2012, I know you can claim gold.Good luck and God bless you.
Coach D,
I hope you realize how stiff the headwind was? Whats your point? 10.70 into a -1.4 and what does that give you? Its pretty stiff considering these are women.

No, it does. I'm just hoping she can do it again next year for the Olympics, not just all of the meets leading up to it (like in 2009 as she hit her fastest time in her last meet versus the WCs).
well the bridesmaid curse is off her shoulder. should do great for her level of confidence
