"I'm not sure why they're not showing the little q's to signify the first losers. That's a little below-par."
do you think the commentators are in Daegu or are the commentating in a studio in the UK?

They said earlier they were in the stadium, and watching via stream I believe.
quite a fall too. good for her to get her ass up and keep pushing. she looks solid
Yawn...once again the presentation of our sport is a fvcking joke and a fvcking embarrassment. I'll check page 5-6 of this thread to see how the WC W Marathon went down.
I can't believe you all can't see the marathon.
Kiplagat and Cherop were clear of the field. Then 2:14 in they collided at the water stop. I'll still need to see the replay to make sense of it. I think they both went down, Kiplgat for sure, and then Cherop helped her up (I think). The fall let Jeptoo catch back up so the 3 were together.
However by 2:19 Kiplagat pulled back ahead. She's leading now and should win. 2:22:17 in They 'll finish in 2:27 I believe.
Should be a Kenya 1-2-3 sweep.
Akaba's husband just shouted from the side of the road that she's 14 sec behind 4th place Bekele.

We're all watching it for free bro
Great surge FTW from Kiplagat after two falls.
It looks like Bekele will snatch a medal! It could get a little interesting at the finish.
Kiplagat looks great. Good thing their absolutely retarded approach to the water stations didn't affect them.
Kenya 1-2-3. What a surprise.
On the fall Kiplagat ran infront of Cherop and went down. Cherop stayed up. She did turn to see if Kiplagat was OK but by then Kiplagat had quickly gotten back up.
What was the winning time?
US results?

obviously an objection has to be posted for athletes involved in "pick-up-gate"
realistically, athletes involved have to be dq'ed...
