These suspensions are applicable to sanctioned events, not small time weekend or local non-sanctioned events/races where you pay for running, you pay for the privilege to run, once the organizer accepts your entry fee, he accepts you as a competitor for their event and they are not required to screen who is suspended or not at the Elite level. You folks have to understand that most non-sanctioned road races are considered private events that you must pay for the privilege to participate, as private events if they know you are suspended, yet still allow an athlete to run, that is their choice as well, as long as the event is non-sanctioned. Some races that pay cash prizes are not sanctioned either, so all this is just overrated comments.
