Meh, it took him over four years to get his citizenship, and Kenya wouldnt clear him to race for the U.S. (because we didnt throw money at them like Qatar did to clear the path) So his choices were to run for Kenya, or to not run. Would you honestly give up dreams of Olympic Gold for national pride?
Remember, Kip has lived in the country since the mid 1990s, he didn't come here as some sort of money chasing warrior like the Qatar kenyans, he didn't come here to make the team because he couldnt make the Kenyan team. He came here because he loves this country. He is more like Wilson Kipketer than Saif Saaeed Shaheen.
