Once again I slept way too much last night. Now it is 3:30 in the afternoon and I am currently drinking my 46th beer. I have not yet run today, so I am still only at 20 miles. I need to get out soon for a short run then really get the miles in this evening.
100 miles - 100 beers -100 hours

Wait, you're expecting us to believe that somehow between 3AM and 3:30PM you slept "way too much" and drank 15 beers? Even if you slept 8 hours that only leaves 4.5 hours and you supposedly drank 20 yesterday before the bar so I'm figuring there wasn't a whole lot on top of that.

This is pathetic.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I passed out around 5am with a total of 41 beers down. I slept a little over 8 hours and then drank beers 42-46 by 3:30. The past three hours I took a nap and just woke up and drank 2 beers. Like I stated in my original post....the beer drinking is not an issue, it's the running. I am currently at 48 beers and 20 miles. I am going to my friend's to eat dinner and drink a few beers. Then I will try and get as many miles in tonight as my body can handle. No more heavy drinking today.

You need to run more dumb shit

Wake up, take stock of where you're at in the challenge, and opt for the beer? I'll be surprised if he hits 50 miles. -
Why not ask someone who's done it already? YP at the Isle of Man, Andy Holden...British pints too
-
Frankly I'm just kind of amazed at how well the dude can drink. Even when I could drink well, I couldn't knock off 20 beers and crash and wake up and pound more. Good god.

As a 140-150 mile a week runner that doesnt drink beer.. good luck. Sounds horrible and fun.

I just got back from a 10 mile run. In ten minutes I will be at the 50 hour mark and my totals are currently 50 beers and 30 miles. Needless to say today was less than amazingly productive. In the past ten hours I only drank 9 beers and ran 10 miles, along with a few naps. All of the excessive drinking yesterday had me very worn out today I think.
I am only going to drink about 5 or so beers tonight so that I am better rested for tomorrow and I can get up earlier and get going on the running. Since I am currently 20 miles behind schedule I certainly have a challenge ahead of me.
I will give it the "old college try" to the best of my ability.

I have been doing small two mile runs with breaks in between today. I have done four so far, putting my total mileage at 38 with my beers at 54. I am currently about 63 hours into the challenge so things are not looking so great right now. I am going to run 2 more miles, go to the lake for a couple of hours to relax and then resume the running this evening.

Like many readers, I don't believe you've suffered enough yet, and as such, are not offering the gods of the 3x100 challenge your worth.
We need more stumbling, bumbling drunken runs.
Start adding a beer mile every other hour. I haven't even seen "vomit" in your updates yet.
Suffer, damnit! -

Lake? GG my friend... Dont even bother posting your finish. -
What a wimp. I thought for sure you'd at least make a go of it and start strong - you said the drinking would be no problem, yet you passed out after drinking only 11 beers and running 10+ miles?
You are a major charlaton. -
Of the three, youre not gonna make 100 beers, or 100 miles.
I'm saying it's 50-50 on whether you even make 100 hours.
Stop sleeping, resting, napping, and start working it!! Or kill yourself trying! -
Yeah, if you were going to be a puss about the miles and only do 1/2 the pace you need I would have hoped you would have front loaded the drinking so your last day could be 30 - 40 miles, but with falling behind on drinking, too, just give up. Try again once you're in drinking or running shape.

This is complete junior varsity BS. Borderline bush league.
Do this or don't. Your compete level is pathetic.
You seriously need to decide if this is important or not. I believe it is, but I can't decide that for you. If you don't have the MAN inside you to get off your f***ing beach chair at the lake and run around that sum'bitch 3 times while stopping at the camp for a 6 pack every three house until you get to 80 miles, you might as well give up. Pull a goddamned all nighter if you have to. After you do that, you should be just about done with the beer by then. Sure, you'll be drunk and sick as shit, but that will leave you with 12 hours to get in a 20 mile run. Sleep off the beer for 8 hours and get off your ass for a 20 miler. You make me sick. I'm actually a little embarrassed for you.
Get off your lazy ass and make your dreams a reality, bitch. -
So, you want to bring up the Real Man thing again? Okay.

You don't know shit about being a man. -
You guys are right. I'm glad I posted on Let's Run so I could get this necessary motivational support. I obviously have not been thinking clearly. I am leaving the beach now and heading back to the track where I will remain throughout the night. I will keep running 2 miles and taking short rests, hopefully allowing me to be at 80 miles by morning. I will mix in some light drinking too, but not enough to interfere with the running. I may be top far behind now to get it done, but I sure as shit am going to try.
