Facts:
Age when reaching pb for top 10 in the history of the world
Rudisha 21 yo (but could still improve)
Kipketer 24 yo, but was already running well at 22 and 23yo
Coe 24 yo, ran 1.42.3 at 23 yo
Cruz 21 yo
Kaki 21 yo (could still improve)
Koskei 23 yo
Borzakovskiy 20 yo
Bucher 24 yo
Rodal 23 yo
Seems like early 20s to me... Wait, none at 25 yo and older.
He seems to be on a steep improvement curve, so that's why my assumption is 19, 20 or 21.
Facts matter.
You sure Kipketer was 24 when he broke the WR?
I seem to remember at the time he was 26! Interestingly his D.O.B is debatable, with some sources claiming it to be 12.12.72 and just as many having it as 12.12.1970.
Which is the real one?
And Coe was 22 when he set his first WR in 79.
I also seem to remember a thread on here a few years ago where someone pointed out that Rudisha (or it might have been Kiprop) had his age on his Facebook profile as 2 years older than the age the IAAF had for him.
Kenyans and ages don't go together really well!
