Vivian Cheruiyot should's skip paris. There's still time to recover for the trials.

"I like how put thought into both spellings of "favo(u)rite" but you spelled Galen, Rupp, Craig, Mottram, and Farah all wrong. Nonafrican's not a word either..."
-I tell you what, the irony on letsrun is just fabulous. You call out a person, yet at the same time your sentence structure makes you sound like Tarzan. Idiot.
Dude, give the guy a break, he lives under a bridge.

we can hope for a nonafrican winner (Galan Rup or Craigg Motram)! But Mo Fara is the favo(u)rite.
Look for Yenew Alamirew to get the win here...

I have no faith in humanity after reading crap like this.

Rupp actually closed down on Farah that last 60m. Pretty damn impressive- Farah ran high 1:53s to close a low-13:06 run and Rupp ran low-mid 1:54s last 800 to close in high-13:06. And that was with a high 53 last 400m for Farah and a low- mid 54 last 400 for Rupp.
Have to admit, I am very very impressed with these two. Especially Farah. I'm starting to believe the guy is absolutely unbeatable, and Rupp is just a little bit behind him in class. Pretty scary stuff....

Farah is on a tear and it may not end soon. Rupp seemed to run like he belonged in that 5000, rather than trying to prove to himself that he belonged. That is a game changer for him much like the first time he outkicked a good finisher (solinsky) way back in 2007. That opened up a new level for Rupp and I bet this will too.
People forget how important the mental aspect of running is.

Well...
Data point 1 million refuting the "overdistance=sprint speed" credot of LRC:
Salazar acknowledges Farah is doing 2/3 the training as Rupp, and Farah goes on to blast Rupp in a sprint finish.
Farah is older and more accomplished. The training they've done over the last 6 months isn't going to immediately change that. Rupp just got 2nd in a good field. What is the damn problem?
You never heard of talent?

'Salazar acknowledges Farah is doing 2/3 the training as Rupp, and Farah goes on to blast Rupp in a sprint finish'
Both the Brojos and whoever wrote this need to read the article again. Al Sal said if and was talking just about one session if Farah needed to take it easy to rest
