Tragic News: Tim Danielson (Sub-4 Runner in HS) Allegedly Kills Wife/Survives Suicide Attempt

Uhh why are people feeling bad for this guy? Who cares what he did in high school if the allegations are true he is a murderer and should be executed or spend the rest of his life in prison. Murders don't get the benefit of the doubt that they were "depressed". The fact that he tried to commit suicide afterwards has nothing to do with the fact that he killed someone.

Based on how he tried to kill himself and how long it took them to find him, he might have serious problems (ie brain damage).

This is how it went down:

Two years ago gets a wife from China, thinking she's going treat him like a king. He soon realizes that she expects to be treated like a queen. Cultural differences and unrealistic expectations on both sides result in a divorce. She moves out, but can’t support herself financially as a substitute teacher. Threats of a lawsuit and demands for alimony payments result in her being moved back in. Arguments ensue, resulting in him killing her in a rage. He goes to the garage, grabs the generator, and drags it to the bedroom. He plugs it in, but he’s really too gutless to actually kill himself. He calls a relative to save him. Cops come over and find him in the bedroom with his dead wife on the floor. He’s arrested for murder.

They had an argument about the person she was dating. Danielson allegedly shot her three times in the back as she ran away and then stood over her and shot her once in the back of the head. Danielson pled not guilty on Thursday...

Edit: It is alleged that Danielson shot her six times total, three in the back, two in the head and once in the throat...

Someone updated his Wikipedia page to state that he is one of five US high school runner to break 4 minutes for the mile. They forgot to mention the murder.

I would say Robert Howard's murder suicide was pretty bad at Arkansas. He was an Olympian. I remember when it happened.
