YOU PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS
Southern California and Eugene, Yeah those spots are perfectly central for everyone living on the West Coast. Why don't we just cater everything to the Ducks. Maybe they can just host every meet that way they will always have a home field advantage and not have to travel. If they host it in Eugene, they might as well host it in South Africa if you are coming from the east coast. I hear they have a very mild climate in South Africa with little wind and a few nice tracks.
There I have solved it. We will hold NCAA's in South Africa
Also, Eugene doesn't even have enough hotels to house fans and athletes.
It is a Sh*tty little town with a decent track.

Yes, they always get 5.5 inches of rain in a day. And, Eugene was great for the Regionals wasn't it, ask Amber Purvis and it is her home track?
Amber Purvis? She cramped after her 100 meter race in Eugene. Amber has stated on many occasions how much she loves the support and program in Eugene. She actually takes pride in learning how to deal with all conditions--a trait that would play out well in Des Moines this week. Let's see how her running mate, English Gardner does this evening (if they can get the meet started again). Anyone who believes there is a better location than Eugene for track and field in the USA is nuts.
Is the meet postponed again?
WHere have you been lately? Eugene has been throwing up new hotels at a record pace and can now easily host track meets of any size. Use your brain for just a second -- they regularly house crowds of 70,000 for their football weekends--why would they have a problem with 15,000 track fans?
