Yeah, those ten 3-pointers by Jason Terry against the Lakers were so overrated they didn't even let him play the whole 4th quarter to up the record.

I'm still staying with my pick, Heat in 5. Even though winning 3 strait games in Dalls would be insane.

Exciting for now, but USUALLY when a team in a series like this has to have a remarkable run at the end of the game to barely win, it means they had a little luck and an anomaly on their side and that the other team will dominate the rest of the series. I think that happens. Heat will win.
Lebron choking is not an anomaly, it's becoming more of the norm.

I'm not sure how the hell it happened but we've got ourselves a series!!!!
My youngest son wanted to stay up and watch it all. I told him he could but if it got late and the score made it seem like the game was over I'd send him to bed rather than have him watch garbage time.
At 88-73 I told him to go to bed. It was over. He grumbled and I said he could watch two more minutes and then would have to go to bed it nothing had really changed. He'd be furious with me now if I'd stuck to my original plan.
I'm a real fan, I actually understand the sport and what is supposed to happen. Doesn't mean I can't still hope.

So your this?
No team has beat the Heat in their house this post-season...until the Mavs did it.
Mavs will win 2 out of 3 at home and be up 3-2 going back to Miami where they've just proven they can win 1 out of 2.
Random Stat: In the history of the 2-3-2 format. The team who wins game 3 after a 1-1 tie has won the series 100% of the time.
Mavs win game 3, and the series in 6.
Alan
You are truly naive if you believe the Mavs are taking all three in Dallas. The Heat are a much better team and let the game last night slip away.
As much as all of you want to hate Lebron James, he will go down as the greatest player to ever step on the court after his career is done. Its too bad he revived Cleveland as a city and raised 2 million dollars for the Boys and Girls Club. What a terrible thing to do. He left Cleveland because they couldnt build a respectable team to back him up. Look at what happened to the Cavs this year and its easy to see why he is the MVP every year regardless of what the voters say.
Keep hating Lebron while he rakes in the MVP's and championships because he'll have at least 5 of each when he retires. The Heat are only getting better.
it's astonishing that many of you would prefer a white German over an African American, just to spite the latter. As for hometown loyalty, how many other pros have even tried to go to their hometown, let alone spent 7 years there surrounded by no talent roster fodder? The Heat collapsed because they settled for three pointers instead of going to the rim.
Hey dumbass, I hope you like sex so go f*** yourself. If Dirk was an "in your face" jackoff like LeBron, then he'd be getting the same treatment. Oh, and I forgot the blackness of Jason Terry, Chandler, Marion, etc.Bibby kept busting 'em last night, damn him. Give the brotha props. No F you attitude.I would say go cry to yo daddy but ou don't know who he is.

Greatest? Yet to be seen. MJ is #1 right now. Until Lebron wins something he's not in the conversation.
Michael Jordan:
6 x NBA Champion
6 x NBA Finals MVP
5 x NBA MVP
10 NBA Scoring Titles
3 x Steals Leader
9 x NBA All-Defense 1st Team
1 x Defensive Player of the Year
Career Scoring Avg 30.12 leads all-time (and that was dragged down by those two horrible years in Washington)
A lot of people focus on MJ's scoring but forget how good a defensive player he was. Lebron has a LONG way to go....

The only fans who love LeBron James are from South Beach. Outside Miami his reputation is pure turd.
He and Obama take the crown jewel trophies for being the biggest Narcisistic ego-loving maniacs in the world. James is quite the masterpiece. Obama is an even bigger masterpiece.
At least James doesn't need a teleprompter when he talks.
I'm a big Dirk fan so was happy to see he got the win but not really looking at it as an amazing comeback. Watching the game I noticed the Heat were being real lazy and basically thinking they head it in bag and tried to bleed the clock. Missed a shot and the Mavs simply made theirs. But for the most part I would say it was the Heat being lazy and cocky and not so much Mavs doing anything incredible. I'm still relatively worried that the Heat are gonna realize they have to play 48min and not 43min/bleed the clock the last quarter when their up 15pts. Also the Heat missed a good number of free throws and simply missed shots they shouldn't have. It was a combo of everything and not so much the Mavs usual gritted teeth comeback that I saw earlier in the playoffs. Still hope they win for Dirk's sake but not getting too excited about this.

Seriously? He was the only Miami starter with a negative +/- while he was on the court during game 2:
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=310602014He also finished the game with more turnovers than assists. If the Heat lose the series, LeBron's choke in game 2 will have been a major contributing factor.

Or maybe the Mavs figured out that the only way to beat the Heat is to shut down Lebron.
Will they be able to shut him down? We'll find out.
As a lifelong Suns fan, I'm not surprised to see Shawn Marion step up as a catalyst for a contender. Trading him for Shaq was what began the Suns eventual spiral to being in the draft lottery two of the past three years. I'd like to see him and JKidd and Jason Terry (former UA Wildcat) win a title.
yup...like i said. heat win 4-2.
To both you and the sex stalker above, I know far more about basketball than you'll ever know. And now the Heat are up in the series and D. Wade, averaging 29 ppg, is on the way to finals mvp. Just don't claim that you're rooting for the Mavericks for any other reason than that their best player is white.

?
The propagandist media has done a very good job of brainwashing idiot sheep like you.
The LAST thing anybody with a huge ego would do is go to a team where he may not be the star. Lebron is no different than he was in high school when he always got all his teammates involved in the games when he could have easily averaged 60 pts a game.
I am NOT from South Beach and I have always been a Lebron fan.
