Yep Igy we are having a great OG. I guess you saw Arnie Titmus' coach Dean Bozzo's exploits when she won her first gold at the pool.
OG coverage here is near perfect and at ideal times.
Our swimmers are our big names and it has been fun to watch them. As of yesterday Emma McKeon's medal count would've had her between NZ and Germany if she was a country. What a star she is.
Ian Thorpe does the expert commentary for the TV coverage of the swimming. His calm measured ego free assessment is brilliant.
Our T and F team have done well so far.
Pat Tiernan put himself in the 10000 mix until his body shutdown. A 1.43 last lap falling over x 2 and stumbling across the line.
Rohan Browning winning a 100 m heat (10.01) was big news. Peter Bol is big news too. Hopefully he can emulate our last 800 m finalist in Ralph Doubell.
Big Matt Denny missed a discus medal by just 5cm.
Brendan Starc 5th in the HJ with 2.35. Brendan's brother is one of the World's highest paid and most famous cricketers.
