Well Done Rick!
I enjoyed every one of your beastly 25 laps this morning. Inspired me. Folks, that 800 was fun! I'm stoked to have caught the 400m runner-up (58pt) and nearly the winner (56pt). I did'nt GO! until 100m to the line but it almost worked. And I ran my race exactly as planned. Get out smart and hold the rail, stay on the rail until 250 to go for the first bold move, and blast for the final move at "the flowers" (from the old Hayward Field steeple water jump days). But the 101 temp on the track at 1:30pm and the hot blasting wind on the backstretch made me wait wait wait. But man I thought I was gonna win it. So Fun! This Bronze feels like GOLD to me after three years since a competitive race (Cheney). Almost felt like I was racing for all y'all too. Since Im 61 in a few days I'm chalking this up as a 91.62 age-grader. 1500m manana. soon it will be time to get right back in the zone.
Be well y'all. KP
