Community outbreak continues in the Boise area. The two largest school districts are postponed and online for the start of the year. The Central Health District, of which Boise is a part, was considering shutting down gyms again, but voted against it since apparently are not the source of rising infections. As the calendar flips public school sports postponed, more local running in events go virtual. Boise State is an open question at this point.
Training is progressing with three quality sessions, and 28 Igy miles (my narcissistic tendencies can be translated to equivalent miles ala Salazar, another well known deviant ? ). I added a gym session back in after Wednesday’s workout. I am trying to adjust the load and components so I can fit in the three quality days. Using a modified Run Less, Run Faster plan (FIRST model). I managed about 60-75% of the planned hard workouts. Endurance and speed coming up a bit, but nothing special.
