Hope to see you back soon SCgal; your progress noted lucKY2b and Coyote.
The radiation oncologist described my 18 month check-up as “marvelous scan, excellent labs, remarkable report.” I have decided to keep my chemo-port through the 24 month check-up. The only inconvenience is the irrigation to keep the lines clear which has to be done at the hospital. I am there using the the port for blood work every three months, so an additional visit every six weeks between. After two years I will go to annual monitoring, so makes sense to remove then.
Training is geared to race preparation for two road events in March. Then I will go back to strength work for another 4-6 weeks build-up for summer track. Training sessions were on target early in the week, but the emotional rollercoaster took its tool by Friday.
