Pulled left calf Wednesday but it seems to be ok. Happened on treadmill 6 percent grade 9mph . Did not warmup enough and was trying to get used to spikes or kinda sort spikes Altra golden spikes which has no spike plate is soft but does get me on my toes. On my toes did me in but it did feel good for a few minutes.
7/14 Saturday/yesterday 12 x 80 second sand hill , booster of fitness and confidence.
Last 2 weeks 3 workouts only 1 is running playing it safe due to recent calf injury.
1. 7/17 Tues Hard bike ride 20 minutes on my mountain bike out of the saddle 4 x 4 minutes with minute recoveries
2. 7/21 Another sand hill session 12x80 seconds
3. 7/24 Another bike ride same as 1
7/29 Race 1500 under 5 minutes
