Week 10 Minutes EZ/LT/VO: 08/17/12
Dec 19 00/17/00 minutes on treadmill 6:40 at 2 miles felt tightness in left calf stretched restarted but retighted so bagged it. Wanted to do 3 or 4 miles oh well did 2.5 or so.
Dec 22 00/00/12 minutes on treadmill 6:40 4 percent grade 4x3 minutes with 30 seconds rest calves still a bit cranky
Dec 23 Bike 3 mile 10 percent hill 27 minutes strange thing is I can run up this at LT in 25 but this felt great
No doubt our struggles with decrepitude is a Shakespearean delight.
The only way I will run a sub 5 mile is:
-Dropping the lard
-Adding volume and intensity.

I will not excuse my fatness as just a part of getting old.
No sir no excuses on this one. Either I eat too much or I don't.
The experiment with time restricted eating is going really well.
Limiting the time vs the food is something that works for me.
Intensity
No way I can add more running at least not this year so I went to an old stand by stand up bike riding doing steep hills right at LT. I used to do these daily with pretty good results. I think all of the other stuff I have done over the past year has added to my energy levels to where I can add this to my work load .
Goals come and go they are fine and keep us motivated.
The pursuit is what I enjoy. Dam the torpedoes and full speed ahead.
