his comment is clueless because Paula Radcliffe in her prime posted here before. Not every runner has thick enough skin though, so the mentally fragile runners would be best served by not coming here.
Pros who love the sport post on here. Ones who are too wrapped up in themselves or the money don't.
Pretty sure a decent amount of pro's post on or at least read the boards. They just do it anonymously for the most part for good reason.

I mean, some people just have no interest in message boards. My wife was All America in track and XC and now runs very fast marathons. She has never been on LetsRun and thinks I am a nerd for posting with people on the Internet.
She is not a pro, but obviously loves running and was/is fairly successful. She still has no interest in it.
Yeah, I don't see how most Pros could possibly NOT read, despite trying to. The curiosity would be overwhelming.

Back in highschool i used to start posts about myself anonymously on a local message board just to hear what people had to say about me. This was usually after a good race I had.
His SPIRIT and his 22:40 5 mile tempo run WERE here and that is all that really matters.
Him mentioning it in that interview was actually how I found out about LetsRun.

For what it's worth: when I was at the '04 Olympic Marathon Trials, is was humorous to see elites gathered around the computers in the hospitality suite, reading none other than Letsrun.com.
