WOW am I glad I've found someone who is attempting this as well, you though have ran a bit faster than me. My PR's as of last year were 10.68 and 21.51, I used to split low-mid 49's consistently in the 400 when I was running in college but haven't touched a 400m since. I enjoy the sport and running way too much to give up, but I have no real desire to do sprints anymore, the training has become too habitual and I need a change of pace. Im 25 years old and am 6' flat, 190lbs.
I haven't dug too much into this thread just yet, but I know there has to be some sort of a conversion period to a distance runner correct?
