I think it will be the AD that replaces him. That is how it works everywhere else.

You think the AD hires the assistant coaches for Henry? Stop posting if you don't have a freaking clue....

That doesn't happen anywhere. AD's hire head coaches, head coaches hire assistants.

Seriously. A&M probably would let Henry hire the head tennis coach if he wanted to.
And he should. Henry can do whatever Henry thinks needs to be done for his program. He has earned that right. You distance boys make me tired with this over analysis on this point and that point. A and M has won without distance points!
Why would you think it would be Brice Allen? Seems happy at Louisville..
ed eyestone byu? walker from alambama doing a lil switcharoo??

Someone said a steeple coach, and on another thread they said Brice was leaving Louisville for an unknown reason.
Cross country team has been informed, down to 4 already and interviewing this weekend.
Joe Walker
Robert Gary
Brice Allen
Ed Eyestone
From reliable sources i hear Joe Walker is the front runner for the position. Doing a lil switching with waters. He may not be as good of an administrator/recruiter as waters (assumption) but i bet he sure as hell is a better distance coach. Good things for A&M in the future with this man at the helm.
That's not what I hear, but I'm staying mum.
None of the above.
Look North.

Why would it be this guy? What has he done at Toledo of all places?
Wendel just took the job at NIU. I think he has a little more integrity than to jump from there to A & M, but who could blame him if it were offered.
Hadsell has had a ton of success on the distance side at Toledo for women. Not sure how good of a men's coach since they have no men's track. But they sent a team to NCAAs this year on women's side. They always seem to have women at the NCAAs as individuals and he coached Lagat's younger sister to NCAAs a few times, had American Record Holder in Shook for steeple (9:29.xx). Probably one of the best developers of talent for women. I doubt the guy leaves Toledo but he would be a great hire if he did.
Just not sure about his ability to coach 800m-1500m nor his ability to coach men.
Joe Walker will get the position, end of thread!
Kevin: Get the heck off the message boards patting your own back and telling everyone what a great job you have done. Horrible track coach thats for sure.
I am definitely not Kevin. I would agree he is not had any success as the track coach (outside of distance). Maybe that's why he wants to go back to just coaching distance? Maybe he doesn't care about being good at track like at Providence, etc. ?
Is the kevin hadsell to Texas A&M true? He could be a great fit.
