I'm not sure on times, but the top 5 were Stallings(MU), Rowe(EU), Moore(WJU), Brown(ESU), Gindlesperger(Ship). Edinboro, Millersville, Shippensburg are headed to the big show.
Hey thanks alot man.Do you know what timing service they were using?Keep it coming guys.
I'm not sure what timing service they used. I'm doing the same thing and looking all over for results. If I find them, I'll drop the link on the strand here.
The following is a link to the East Regional homepage:
http://www4.wju.edu/athletics/xc/reg02/reginfo02.html
However, as of 5:40pm eastern standard time the results have not been posted. Of course, this long delay doesn\'t surprise me since the meet was put on by WJU. At least, Slippery Rock had the results posted immediately last year courtesy of runhigh.com.
runhigh did the timming again this year, but the results got messed up because one guy didn't have chips and it messed up the placing and times and stuff
What a disgrace.
Thanks alot for all the info guys.Sounds like the PSAC was well represented.
Is it official yet who made Nationals or did the chip mishap effect who is going to Nats?
all i know is that aside from UMASS Lowell that it the most pathetic excuse for a region ever! dIIne is simply awful, bentley gets second and gets to go to NCAA's but they are the 24th best team in New England since they placed 24th at the all-new england championships(running their top guys)
This thread is about the East Reg

This thread is about the east region, not the northeast, so go do your bashing elsewhere, please.
Your talking about adifferent region, East & Northeast are different
The three going to nationals are 1)Edinboro 2)Millersville 3)Shippensburg Wheeling was a distant 4 go figure?????
Chicks:
Sara R. from IUP wins individual title and IUP takes the team title with five in the top-15.

It was alot closer than you think. We had 96 points and Wheeling had 104 points. They ran a great race and it is a shame that they aren't going to go to the big show.
Ship Runner- you guys really busted out some big races. I thought Wheeling Jesuit was going to get that thrid spot. But I based my judgement on what I saw at Gettysburg and Ship results. Spence had the rest of the conference guessing what kind of team he had by going out of state and not running up against the PSAC schools. Little did we know he was just gettting his team ready for Nats.
IUP Girls had a dominating day. Having all top five(or was it four) girls in the top 15 was pretty clutch. They could possible be looking at a top 10 finish.
The true highlight of the meet were the freshman girls that qualfied for nationals. Danielle Kramer (bloom) and Chairty Learn, (Mans) both girls had great days. It will be interesting to see the girls beating up on each other over the next 3+ years. Could you imagine what would happen if they where teammates!?!?!
LHU took a big hit with Cowans performance. Despite his 19th place he still had a great season and deserves truck loads of credit. Is this a case from peaking too early and fading in the end or did the pressure get to him? Stallings your still an animal and I can't wait to finnally get to watch you race instead of be in the race with you.
Godd luck to everybody moving on.
has anybody found results yet?
Any description of the course? I know D1 mid atlantic regionals are being run there this weekend. Did anyone notice the 3200ft of elevation?
the elevation was no factor at DII EAST REGION. What made the course so difficult was the mud, water and softness of the course. There were parts of the course that ankle deep mud like quick sand had to be run through with no way around it. It was in horrible shape and you could tell the golf management didn't want any part of the race in the fairways. It is narrow and not maked real well. There were no lines on the course at all for DII. The winning time was something like 31:40 for a guy who runs under 29:30 for 10k on the track. I hope the course wetness is better for DI, if not and the course stays the same I don't think anyone will run much faster than 30:45.
The villanova kid and FDU are great but on this swamp I am not sure what will happen. Good luck.
The course is pretty rough, the maitnence people at the golf course are being pricks, they won't give up any of the fairways and they won't allow for paint markings on the course, even though golf season is over! just hope for lots of rain and cold this saturday, then I might have a chance to win in 34:00, it is real x-c, the way it should be.
How long will it be before we see the results of the East???
It would be nice to see them before Nationals!!!!What gives??? Was the missing chip in the top finishers???
