It does show one thing for sure. Obama buckled under pressure. Again!

That birthers were retarded nut job conspiracy theorists? That they can't accept legally valid documents? That they couldn't go to Hawaii themselves and check (which you can do in Hawaii, only two people have done this)?
Basically, this shows how f***ing stupid the birthers were from the start. And claiming victory only serves to nail home that fact.
Carter was president for 4 years 30 years ago.
Reagan was president for 8 years 22 years ago.
There is no such thing as "Carterism" while there is something known as "Reaganism", and the GOP's most recent poster boy of an ideal president, GW Bush, embraced "Reaganism" with more gusto than he did the bottle when he was AWOL from the guard/avoiding Vietnam.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Americans are f***ing DUMB AS SHIT.
More evidence that Donald Trump has that can-do entrepreneurial spirit that is sorely lacking in today's American political "leadership". He has my vote. Trump/Palin 2012!

I'm kind of disappointed, to be honest, because it's just feeding this birther craziness.
Don't you think the birther movement feeds the perception that the anti-obama fervor is without merit? It's a gamble but I think Obama might when to give these guys a clear path to run themselves off a cliff.

Actually this is another brilliant political move by Obama. By doing this, he is propping up Trump and helping to push him to the front of Republican contenders. Obama knows that the American public will not elect Trump as president. Say what you want about the man, but you cannot deny that Obama is a savvy politician.
I figured there had to be some political reason to do it now.
Or maybe he just wanted to piss off the publishers of this book:

It doesn't have a raised seal like mine. Just saying.

Wrong! Trump doesn't have a prayer of getting the Republican nomination. Anyone with a brain knows that. Nice try but Obama buckled under pressure, plain and simple.
Unfortunately for Obama, these nutbags have already started shifting over to doubting his academic accomplishments. How did people that are so dumb become so confident in their idiotic opinions?

Dont lump all conservatives together. Many of them are calling for a stop to this. Rightfully so. It's like poking a bear with a stick. You're just trying to piss off the bear. There's bigger fish to fry; A record 15 trillion in debt, record deficits, health care. If conservatives stick to the issues and stop trying to poke the bear then the bear will go away soon enough.

I think you need to reread the post. Elevating Trump into the pack of viable GOP candidates makes them all look ridiculous (while marginalizing any serious candidates, not that this is even necessary at this point). It makes the party look like a bunch screaming half-wits. Keep Palin, Trump, Bachman, hell get Beck in there too and the party starts to look pretty ridiculous.

Wow, how embarrassing. It took Donald Trump to get what no one has been able to do for 3 years....get BHO to release his birth certificate.
Bottom line is it doesn't matter what country or planet Obama was born on. He is still the worst president ever.
I always said that once Obama produces the the long form birth certificate, then I'm convinced. Argument over. It shows time of birth, doctor, and hospital. That's good enough for me. As for the others who doubt this, STFU.
Kudos to Trump.

I agree Trump has no credibility or competence to be even talking about running for office...
except, if Obama can do it, then Trump is at least as qualified. At least he knows what it takes to have a real budget where you are responsible for it.
We will look back on Obama's presidency as a time where America shrank from being the sole superpower in the world to just another country among nations who didn't have the leadership to control spending and crippled future generations with massive debt.

How is re-releasing it buckling under pressure?
Do you really need this explained to you? He's had plenty of time to release it dating back to the campaign before he was president. But he refused! Now because Obamas poll numbers are dropping and someone has surged to the front of the pack of potential presidential contenders and made Obamas bc a primary issue he decides NOW to release it.
A cowardly caving under pressure.

That was my first thought too. But I kinda wish he had released it a week before its publication. Of course, the right wing would still make the argument that he was "pressured" into releasing it.

I am sorry, you don't consider the GOP to be American people?
You said "the American people," not "American people." There is a world of difference. Don't go changing what you said.

So at what point in their presidency did other Presidents release their birth certificates?
I mean, you must have some sort of reference point for all your deranged boasting.
I think he was just embarrassed that his dad broke the (Age/2)+ 7 rule.
Age of Father = 25
Age of Mother = 18
25/2= 12.5
12.5 + 7 = 19.5
19.5 > 18

You do realize that almost every year for the last 40+ years the US had hit a new record for debt.
