Surprised that no one else has picked up on this aspect. Yes, while the coverage wasn't perfect, the camera angles were better than usual, and also better than the prelims of the previous day. Most people who watch track (either on tv or certainly online) are fans of the sport who want to see how the race develops, and also be able to check split times. Constant camera changes and close up shots make really following the race all but impossible. Just one more of the many aspects of track coverage that need to improve.
