yep. clearly the plan is to let everyone else yo-yo if they'd like. men's pack regrouping. too grainy to see who's who.
kim stretching at mile 20.
desi looks like she's going to join the lead 4.
Hall is running a smart race. If he had dropped a 4:28 mile everyone would he saying he is killing himself.

If I am not mistaken, 15 to 16mi is downhill.
Is that Desi tailing the lead pack???
Oops, Hall in the lead?

Ryan Hall has caught back up to men's pack. 1:24 in
Disiree is looking strong. Amazing performance so far.

It is INDEED World Record PACE, it just will not be a WR. A 9.57 100m is world-record pace even with a 4.0mps wind, it just will not be a WR.
Before you get nasty you should be correct.
You seem to have missed the point badly. Before you use words you should understand thoughts. You either being deliberately obtuse or accidentally moronic. I don't care which - just shut up.
Desi davila and ryan hall both leading!! Go USA!!!!!
Cragg - looks gone - 20k split was already 1.5 minutes off the pace
Well, now that it's just a bunch of really skinny Africans fighting it out, I'm not really interested anymore, but I'll venture some guesses.
Here are my predictions:
Men's Winner: A Skinny African Guy
Women's Winner: A Skinny African Girl
hall doing very well. just needs to figure out which move is the real move. desi leading? looking strong.
That depends on race strategy. Essentially every winner now at Boston runs harder the second half. Now, they just threw in a 4:23 mile after the 'fast' first half; that seems like they may well run the second half fast enough to run faster than WR.

I think that you missed his point. He is not saying that they may well run under 2:03:59 but that it will not count as a WR. He is saying that they will not run under 2:03:59 and that it only appears that way because the first half of the course is downhill, leading to deceptively fast first half times.
US leading both races... Hot damn!
A bit crazy it took for Desi to take the lead for her to be mentioned on the broadcast. They were showing Goucher a ton before now.
Ryan Hall, Desi Davila both move to the front. THERE ARE TWO AMERICANS LEADING
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
