Hello. I ran 4:17 in college, and, I am now merely a stand up comic in New York who indulges in 4am bed times and a snifter of port on holiday. In the last month or so, I have been putting in a regular 30-50 minutes a day. Three weeks ago I ran 3X2000 with a 3:30 rest in 6:21, 6:24 and 6:13. I then last week did 8X400 in 67 with a luxurious 1:25 rest. What do you suppose, after a few more workouts, I can run for a mile on May 6th (the armory mile.) Just curious. This post is just to get a sense of what I might be able to do, feel free to lambast me if you will, but serious replies would be appreciated. Email linked above.
