Actually, very good conditions for the faster runners, bad conditions for the slower runners.
I wish I could have made the most of it myself, it just makes me want to try again next year.

Jonny, I thought the conditions were crap and so did most of the guys I was watching it with. I didn't train Sunday but it would have been wind pants and a jacket for sure if I had done (yes I'm a bit of a wimp).
i was workign there and watched the race at miles 13 and whatever mile it is where they come back on the other side of road, (21 ish??). the slower runners were having all sorts of trouble with the weather! they were literally shivering as they jogged, limped and walked. some had the foil blankets already and many were in obvious discomfort! but hey--i got a decent (and free) adidas jacket out of it so every cloud...
