I'm a junior at Bemidji State in MN and I've been having stomach cramps since late September. At times they double me over to the ground. I took 2 months off over the winter hoping that they would go away but they didn't. Doctors have given me Pepcid AC and pain pills. They worked for a short time and then it comes back again. Lately I've been able to do our training runs (7-12 miles) and every once in a while I've been able to finish a speed workout. My cramps usually only come back when I am trying to race or try to do a speed workout. I end up dropping out halfway through most of the time. I am going to see an internal surgeon on Friday to see if he can find any hernias that the other ones didn't before I do any serious testing. Please repond if you have any ideas. I've pretty much already screwed myself out of an outdoor season this year but I would still like to get it taken care of ASAP so I can hit the miles hard again this summer before my senior year.
Thanks
Jason
