Holy cow, I posted this in first hour, then come back during 4th hour and BAM, looks great. Thank you very much.
Don't try catching back up to me when I pass you on the road, you will be dropped again, but harder.

Dumb.
A runner's legs are smoother than his girlfriend's, or at least smoother than the girlfriend he hopes to have one day.
On the day upon reaching his 40th birthday, the runner, at his discretion, may
1)discard short shorts
2)exaggerate another five (5) seconds off his prs, for a total of ten (10) seconds
Unfortunately, some of articles the OP’s constitution read more like the Bylaws of a hate group rather than a Constitution of a Great Nation of runners. It might help to eliminate attacks on fatties, sprinters, joggers, etc.
I might also humbly ask that you eliminate your Excuse Article. You should make NO EXCUSES for a bad race. Internalize your failure and use it as motivation for your next race.
stache, that is really good work - multiple laugh points. excellent.
It as not intended to be anything more then something for us to refer to and laugh about. It was never intended to be some constitution for a "great nation of runners" If you dont like it, fine. Though we are going to put it up in the locker room.

By age 50, anyone with a PR of under 5 minutes for the 1600 may refer to themselves as a "4:30 miler, in their prime".
If they cannot be spoken, whay should the be able to be written?
Also ChubsyUbsy, I dont know how many times you have had to triple up in a highschool meet with mile-800-2 mile. But it is exhasuting especially with good competetion.

What if you enjoy running AND music? Why should you not be able to combine the activities during an easy day?
Also, whoever said mock sprinters, you are a reason distance runners get a bad rap on track teams. I absolutely respected the sprinters, throwers and jumpers on my collegiate track team. They are amazing athletes and do stuff that I couldn't fathom doing. If you have respect for them and actually prove that by being knowledgeable about what they do and showing interest they will reciprocate. If not then you all just get labeled as the faggy distance guys who are too slow to sprint because you act like assholes.
Don't get so defensive. I just made a couple of suggestions.
Tripling was fairly common when I was in HS, usually in dual meets. Of course it was exhausting. In my experience, however, your "good competition" is also tripling. That evens the playing field, so it is certainly not something to use as an excuse if one of those three races doesn't turn out so well.
No whining. No excuses. Just make your best effort.
If you want to get better, don't bother making your quality work harder, your intervals faster, or your hill runs longer ....
Just run more miles!
Preferably by turning days into doubles with easy, conversational-paced 3-5 mile runs. :-/

Well said.

Every runner should have atleast 1 favorite running video

yeah - better to drop out or dns than to wear a mask. why inflict such raw embarrassment on lrc boardboys?

Consulting Article II, Section 2(1) will show you that if all members of a running group are following the Unwritten Constitutional Law of Runners, no one should ever have to run through a cloud of noxious fumes.
