lol. "sighting" - i'm pretty sure he's on tracktalk.net - you can just pm him and ask.
He looked pretty strong, maybe didn't have the extra gear at the end but a pretty solid run. Anyone know what his injury was? The commentators said something about an achilles issue but it didn't sound like that was confirmed.
I believe his injury last winter was to the Achilles as well.
Can someone link me to the MPSF results?
What is his screen name on TT?
So Derrick ran? Why waste the redshirt? Eh, it is just indoor I guess. Time? Link?
He was on the old Dyestat as Derrick08 but stopped posting when he went to Stanford. As far as I know if he is on Tracktalk, he is anonymous.
He looked good and even though he lost, it was a good performance all things considered.
Wow Miles Unterreiner won. Big thing for him.

Why waste the redshirt? Are you kidding me? Do you really think that Derrick will want to be wasting his time with intercollegiate athletics two years from now?
The kid's a stud. He is also brilliant (have you seen his interviews?). I am pretty sure that he'll have better things to do with his time two years from now than to be running for Stanford.
I'm just going off memory here, so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Derrick sit out indoors last year? If so, he doesn't have a redshirt to use this year anyway, so if he's feeling healthy, he might as well jump in here at the end of the winter season.

I watched the race on Flotrack. That Oregon kid, Kwiatkowski, made it into an interesting race as he went to the lead and tried to steal the race with a couple laps to go. He broke the pack into a group of five who dueled it out. In the end, Kwiatkowski ran out of steam, but good show of guts.
No.
