you have to run a 5k within 20 seconds of the AR to make the national meet for the men and... SIXTEEN MINUTES for women?????

The true test is how many men will line up on the starting line as compared to the females in the same event.

Equal is only equal if they have the same number on the starting line. Qualifying times are set up to fill a starting field, nothing more.
