Track Ticket Deadline Approaching
Fans have until Friday to take advantage of the special offer.
EUGENE, Ore. -- Fans have until Friday to take advantage of a special opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2012 Olympic Trials by becoming an Oregon season ticket holder and making a two-year commitment.
Fans who order UO season tickets for 2011 and 2012 will be able to purchase tickets to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials — Track & Field before they go on sale to the general public.

Scheduled for June 22-July 1, the 2012 Olympic Trials will be the premier American track and field event this decade. The demand for tickets is expected to exceed the 2008 Olympic Trials at Hayward Field, which sold out several months in advance of the competition.
Demand for tickets both this season and next will be high, with 87 percent of 2010 season ticket holders having renewed for 2011. Those who have yet to renew their season tickets for 2011 may do so by Friday to retain their 2010 seats.
In addition to the Trials offer, season ticket holders will also have the option to purchase tickets to the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships before those tickets are released to the general public March 4.
The World’s finest track and field team will be on display at the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Held June 23-26, the Championships will select the members of Team USA who will compete in the IAAF World Championships Aug. 27-Sept. 4 in Daegu, South Korea.

Included as part of the 2011 season ticket, the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds serve as the first and second rounds for the NCAA Championships for virtually every NCAA Division I school west of the Mississippi River. The top 12 finishers in each event will advance to the finals of the NCAA Championships June 8-11 in Des Moines, Iowa.
A 2011 season ticket includes all regular season meets, plus all three days of the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds.
Ticket prices are $90 for reserved, $80 for adult general admission and $60 for child/senior general admission. The family plan consists of general admission for two adults and three kids and is available for $140.
The 2011 home schedule includes the March 19 Oregon Preview, the April 9 Pepsi Team Invitational featuring Oregon, Stanford, Nebraska and Washington, the April 22-23 Oregon Relays presented by Oregon Community Credit Union, and the May 6 Oregon Twilight. The NCAA West Preliminary Rounds are May 26-28.
Single-meet tickets, including the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds, will go on sale March 4.
