I don't have any 'serious' injury, and I am a relatively new runner (a little over two years) in my late 20s, and train moderately (5x/wk, from 20 to 35mpw historically).
As long as I can remember, I've almost never experienced running completely pain free for more than a few minutes at a time. In the beginning of a run ankle will hurt, then other legs knee, then when I am done one foot will hurt in a weird way. Then the next day some pains will disappear, and new ones gets there. Rinse and repeat. Never anything serious, but once one of the them goes away it's replaced somewhere else.
It drives me insane at times b/c I am not sure if this is completely normal and I should just suck it up, or if it's not typical at all. Interested in hearing others feedback. If more experienced runners have these sort of things all the time, that would help me just accepting that's what it is.
As a side note, I don't have any crazy deficiency. I run in stability shoes (Asics 21xx) and overpronate mildly, have a medium arch, stride is ok, i don't particularly land hard on my heels.
My symptoms over the last 12+ months mimicked anterior tibilias tendon pain (in the foot), ankle pain, toes pain, hamstring and adductors pain, itb pain etc. Lots of little crap but nothing bad enough to stop running.
