I just don't agree with it. No matter how hard I try to accept it, it just seems silly.

Let's see. 50% of all different sex marriage ends up in divorce, so where is this so-called "sanctity" of marriage when these people can just break this "sanctimonious" vow left and right.

Can some of you help me? I want to be more open minded about it, but it seems like marriage is like hooking up by a leech - the only difference is that you don't get to bone it once you get married and it sucks you dry for 50% of all of your income. What is the point?

I really agree. But until we as a general society dismiss the truly silly arguments against the legalization of same-sex marriage I say fair game with the stale posts.
