I have been having a very good indoor track season. My all time prs were 5:26 for 1600, and 12:02 for the 3200 and that was at the end of outdoor track season last year. But I've really gotten my head in the game and training hard this year without much speedwork more base though. And I have already got my times down to 5:19 and 11:46 and thats after running 5:29 in the last leg of a DMR alone in my race last week. The thing is these times were in a 300 meter indoor track so will there be a difference when i run on a 400 meter track outdoors. And there was great competition that helped push me that i doubt i will have in dual meets outdoors until regionals. Well anyways my hs coach is going to make me run 4 events outdoors this year which i'm okay with because i want to help the team. But my question is, is it realistic for me to get down to 4:59 and 2:15 by june? I was injured last year and so don't really have experience running outdoor track. I started running cc my sophomore year and only ran track last year.
