a couple weeks ago i had met with someone off kijiji.ca as i had seen the Mona Lisa painting for sale. he had selled me it for $4,200 and had all the certificates and documents to prove it was the real one. (i negoshiated him from $6,000)
I bought it and when i took it to an art dealer i know he told me this is a knock off and that it was not the real Mona Lisa paitning, i showed him all the certificates and papers and isaid it had to be real. so we took it to the museum to see what they said and the person just laughed at me saying she went to the museum its in just the other week and saw the real one there and said this can't be the real Mona Lisa..
now i feel like a complete incompetant. i was scammed for $4,200 and i have no ways to trace the scammer. he was using a prepaid phone and police say itsmost likely he will not getting caught.
why did this happen to me please, what can i do to get my mony back?
